This week’s AEW Dynamite drew one of its best audiences in years. The July 15 episode, held at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, averaged 786,000 viewers on TBS.
According to Wrestlenomics, citing data first reported by Programming Insider, the show also posted a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic, tying for second among cable programs that night.
That number marks a 2% increase over the previous week’s Beach Break episode, which drew 773,000 viewers and saw Kenny Omega defeat MJF to win the AEW World Championship. Compared with the previous four-week average of 672,000, the growth was 17%.
It was Dynamite’s biggest audience since July 24, 2024, when that year’s Blood & Guts episode also drew exactly 786,000 viewers. This week’s show matched that number but didn’t surpass it. That 2024 episode, though, posted a considerably higher 18-49 rating, at 0.26.
One of the night’s highlights was Omega’s first celebration since winning the title. During the segment, Kevin Knight showed up to demand an opportunity and was confirmed as the challenger for the AEW World Championship at Redemption.
Adam Copeland and Christian Cage retained the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta. In the main event, Mercedes Moné and Divine Dominion defeated Willow Nightingale, Maya World and Hyan.
