Add as a preferred source on Google AEW has announced a huge trios match for the next episode of Dynamite, set for Wednesday, July 22. Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley will team up to take on Brian Cage, Hechicero and Jake Doyle, three members of the Don Callis Family.
The match was confirmed following the events of tonight’s Dynamite, held at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts.
During his celebration after winning the AEW World Championship, Omega was interrupted by Ospreay, his upcoming opponent at All In: London. Kevin Knight then showed up and challenged the new champion to a match at Redemption.
Knight blindsided Omega, setting off a chaotic scene. Brian Cage, Hechicero, Jake Doyle and other members of the Don Callis Family came out to help the current TNT Champion, while Ospreay and the Death Riders also got involved to even the odds.
Ospreay has been training and wrestling alongside the Death Riders in recent weeks. Earlier in tonight’s show, Moxley was shown giving the Englishman some advice ahead of the big matches he has coming up.
The next Dynamite will be held at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee.
