AEW is very close to selling out Louis Armstrong Stadium for Double or Nothing, which will take place on May 24 in Queens, New York City.

According to WrestleTix, only 68 tickets remained available for the show as of the latest update. The stadium’s current setup is 13,916 seats, with 13,848 tickets already distributed.

The number stands out, especially when compared to the 2025 edition of Double or Nothing, which was held in Glendale, Arizona. That event finished with an estimated 8,179 tickets distributed.

That means this year’s edition is expected to draw a crowd nearly 70% larger, showing a very strong response for one of AEW’s main pay-per-views of the calendar year.

AEW itself confirms that Double or Nothing will take place on Sunday, May 24, at 7 p.m. local time at Louis Armstrong Stadium. The company is also presenting the event as its return to the Big Apple in pay-per-view form.

The card also helps explain the high demand. Among the top matches announced are Darby Allin defending the AEW World Championship against MJF, who will have to shave his head if he loses, as well as FTR vs. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in an I Quit Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Also scheduled are Thekla vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Kris Statlander vs. Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women’s World Championship, Kazuchika Okada vs. Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International Championship, and another Stadium Stampede Match.

In other words, with more than a week still to go before the event, AEW already has nearly everything in place for one of its biggest recent crowds.
