Mick Foley will make his first official AEW appearance this Sunday at Double or Nothing, the next pay-per-view from Tony Khan’s company.
Khan confirmed the news on his official X account. The AEW President announced that Foley will co-host The Buy In alongside Renee Paquette before the event begins.
In the post, Khan noted that Foley is “coming back to TBS,” referencing his time on the network as Cactus Jack, a character that played a major role in his career before WWE.
Double or Nothing will take place on May 24 at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, with a scheduled start time of 7 p.m. local time.

Along with Foley’s appearance on the pre-show, the card will feature Darby Allin defending the AEW World Championship against MJF in a Title vs. Hair Match, as well as FTR vs. Cage & Cope for the AEW World Tag Team Championship in an I Quit Match.
As of now, there is no confirmation that Foley has signed a contract with AEW or that his role will extend beyond this Double or Nothing appearance.
Foley had been rumored for AEW after choosing not to renew his WWE Legends contract. Last week, it had already been reported that AEW had real interest in working with the WWE Hall of Famer in some kind of role.
