AEW Redemption 2026 Live Results – Omega vs. Knight, Thekla vs. Nightingale, and More!

This Saturday night, AEW will host first live edition of Redemption, straight from Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Check out the highlights announced for the show below:

Buy-In:

The Buy In opened with Renee Paquette and Mick Foley welcoming viewers to the show. Excalibur, Nigel McGuinness and Taz were on commentary.

Matt Menard then appeared and introduced Jacques and Raymond Rougeau, who came out as The Mountie.

The legends were honored before Don Callis and Rocky Romero quickly interrupted. Romero mocked the Rougeau family, saying the only family worth mentioning in Canada was the Don Callis Family.

Romero tried to hit Jacques with a bag of coins, but Jacques caught him with a punch to the jaw. After Raymond connected with a hard kick, Menard and Jacques leveled Romero with a clothesline.

The segment ended with the Rougeau family and Menard celebrating.

The Demand’s music then hit, with Ricochet leading Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun to the commentary desk for the next match.

AEW World Trios Championship Match: The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O’Reilly) (c) vs. The Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal, Blake Christian, and Lee Johnson)
– While O’Reilly had Johnson trapped in an Ankle Lock, Cassidy pinned Jay Lethal.

After the match, The Demand gave The Conglomeration a sarcastic round of applause, seemingly signaling that they have set their sights on the AEW World Trios Championship.

It was announced that the opening match on the pay-per-view’s main card will be a Ladder Match, with the winner earning a shot at the AEW International Championship.

After all the competitors made their entrances, with Mike Bailey and Jack Perry coming out last, the Buy-In broadcast came to an end.

AEW Redemption 2026:

AEW International Championship – Six-Way Ladder #1 Contender’s Match: “Jungle” Jack Perry vs. The Beast Mortos vs. Komander vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey vs. Nick Wayne vs. El Clon
– After hitting a Ultima Weapon on Mortos, who was lying on a ladder wedged in the corner, Bailey climbed the ladder in the center of the ring and retrieved the contract to win the match.

With the win, Mike Bailey became the next challenger for the AEW International Championship. The title will be on the line later tonight when Kyle Fletcher defends against Bandido.

Tag Team Match: Death Riders (Jon Moxley & Will Ospreay) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)
– Ospreay stopped Moxley from using a steel chair but was hit with a Superkick. With the numbers advantage, the Bucks hit Moxley with several Superkicks and scored the pinfall.

AEW International Championship Match (everyone banned from ringside): Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. ROH World Champion Bandido
– Fletcher hit Bandido with a Turnbuckle Brainbuster before scoring the pinfall.

Double Chain Match: Bang Bang Gang (Jay White & Juice Robinson) vs. The Dogs (David Finlay & Clark Connors)
– Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia appeared and attacked Jay White, prompting Austin and Colten Gunn of the Bang Bang Gang to chase them backstage. With the others distracted, Marina Shafir quietly handed Finlay the shillelagh. Finlay struck Robinson with it and scored the pinfall victory.

Backstage, Jon Moxley interrupted Renee Paquette’s interview with Will Ospreay. Ospreay told Moxley he was not trying to kill anyone, referring to his decision to stop Moxley from hitting Nick Jackson with a steel chair during their match earlier in the night. Moxley said he did not care about the loss, but he did care about Ospreay’s behavior. He added that he did not want to be around when Ospreay failed at Wembley because there are no partners at the top. Moxley then warned that if Ospreay would not pull the trigger, he would.

AEW TBS Championship Match: Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Maya World
– World hit Shida with a Fallaway Slam and scored the pinfall

Maya World defeated Shida with a Fallaway Slam to win her first title in AEW.

In a backstage segment, The Demand, led by Ricochet, challenged The Conglomeration for the AEW World Trios Championship on next week’s Dynamite in Detroit.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Adam Copeland & Christian Cage (c) vs. Death Riders (PAC & Claudio Castagnoli)
– Copeland caught PAC with a mid-air Spear and followed up with the pinfall.

After the match, The Young Bucks’ music hit, confirming that Copeland and Cage will defend their titles against the Jackson brothers at AEW All In.

No Holds Barred Match: “The Painmaker” Chris Jericho vs. Tommaso Ciampa
– Jericho threatened to use the drill on Ciampa’s forehead, forcing him to submit.

Backstage, Mick Foley interviewed Divine Dominion. Lena Kross and Megan Bayne ordered Foley to sit in a chair so they could stand over him. They asked whether he had ever seen champions as tough as them and claimed it would be impossible to find challengers capable of beating them. Foley said the Brawling Birds could do it, but the champions insisted they had no chance. Kross and Bayne continued threatening Foley until the broadcast cut back to ringside.

AEW National Championship Match: Mark Davis (c) vs. Andrade El Idolo
– Andrade hit The DM on Davis and scored the pinfall.

With the win, Andrade captured the AEW National Championship for the first time in his career.

In a backstage interview with Lexy Nair, Mike Bailey said he realized a dream tonight by winning the Ladder Match and becoming the new No. 1 contender for the AEW International Championship. Bailey announced that he will honor the title’s purpose by issuing his challenge at an international event, AEW Grand Slam: Mexico, on August 5.

AEW Women’s World Championship Match: Thekla (c) vs. Willow Nightingale
– Nightingale overcame interference from Skye Blue, countered Thekla’s Stomp and caught her in a Backslide for the win.

With the victory, Willow Nightingale captured the AEW Women’s World Championship for the first time. The entire Conglomeration came to the ring to celebrate with the new champion.

Mercedes Moné watched from the stands. It was then confirmed that Nightingale will defend the title against “The CEO” at AEW All In.

AEW World Championship Match: Kenny Omega (c) vs. AEW TNT Champion Kevin Knight
– Omega hit Knight with the One-Winged Angel and scored the pinfall.

The Death Riders immediately came out after the match and attacked Omega. The Young Bucks rushed to the champion’s aid, but the group quickly overwhelmed them with the numbers advantage.

After delivering a brutal beating, the full Death Riders lineup—Moxley, Garcia, PAC, Yuta, Castagnoli and Shafir—placed a chair around Omega’s neck and prepared to crush it.

An enraged Will Ospreay came out and tried to stop the attack. Yuta attempted to hold Ospreay back, clearing the way for Castagnoli to crush Omega’s neck. Ospreay returned in time, however, and shoved Castagnoli away. He removed the chair from Omega’s neck and tried to use it against the Death Riders.

Moxley entered the ring and attempted to calm Ospreay down before handing him a plastic bag to suffocate Omega. Moxley told him that he needed to do it or he would fail because there was no room for friendships at the top.

Ospreay took the bag and appeared ready to attack Omega, but he suddenly ripped it apart and punched Moxley. The rest of the Death Riders entered the ring to attack Ospreay, but he fought them all off, including hitting PAC with the Hidden Blade.

Moxley pulled his entire group away from ringside and retreated through the crowd. Ospreay then tore off his Death Riders armband, signaling that he was no longer part of the group.

Ospreay helped Omega back to his feet and handed him the title as a show of respect. Ospreay’s music played as he climbed onto the turnbuckles to celebrate with the fans. Omega then caught him by surprise and hit him with the One-Winged Angel.

The Young Bucks returned to the ring and questioned Omega’s attack. Moments later, however, they posed alongside him as the pay-per-view came to an end.
