Buy-In:
The Buy In opened with Renee Paquette and Mick Foley welcoming viewers to the show. Excalibur, Nigel McGuinness and Taz were on commentary.
Matt Menard then appeared and introduced Jacques and Raymond Rougeau, who came out as The Mountie.
The legends were honored before Don Callis and Rocky Romero quickly interrupted. Romero mocked the Rougeau family, saying the only family worth mentioning in Canada was the Don Callis Family.
Romero tried to hit Jacques with a bag of coins, but Jacques caught him with a punch to the jaw. After Raymond connected with a hard kick, Menard and Jacques leveled Romero with a clothesline.
The segment ended with the Rougeau family and Menard celebrating.
The Demand’s music then hit, with Ricochet leading Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun to the commentary desk for the next match.
AEW World Trios Championship Match: The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O’Reilly) (c) vs. The Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal, Blake Christian, and Lee Johnson)
– While O’Reilly had Johnson trapped in an Ankle Lock, Cassidy pinned Jay Lethal.
After the match, The Demand gave The Conglomeration a sarcastic round of applause, seemingly signaling that they have set their sights on the AEW World Trios Championship.
It was announced that the opening match on the pay-per-view’s main card will be a Ladder Match, with the winner earning a shot at the AEW International Championship.
After all the competitors made their entrances, with Mike Bailey and Jack Perry coming out last, the Buy-In broadcast came to an end.
