AEW Dynamite (07/22/26) Live Results – Redemption Go-Home Show!

This Wednesday night, AEW will host another live edition of Dynamite, straight from MGM Music Hall in Boston, Massachusetts. Check out the highlights announced for the show below:

• AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, and Jon Moxley vs. The Don Callis Family (Brian Cage, Hechicero, and Jake Doyle);
• Kevin Knight (c) vs. Darby Allin – AEW TNT Championship Match;
• Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne & Lena Kross) (c) vs. Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart & Skye Blue) – AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship – Street Fight Match;
• Clark Connors vs. Jay White;
• Thekla and Willow Nightingale will have their final face-off before AEW Redemption;

This week’s show opens with Excalibur, Taz, and Tony Schiavone welcoming viewers.

Backstage, Kenny Omega is fired up about teaming with Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley tonight. Omega tells Ospreay that he also has an important match coming up at Redemption, so he shouldn’t hesitate to make the tag later if he needs to. Ospreay, for his part, asks Omega to be careful, since he wants to face him at full strength at All In, with Omega coming off an injury. Moxley then appears and says the tension is unnecessary, since victory is certain tonight.

AEW TNT Championship Match: Kevin Knight (c) vs. Darby Allin
– Knight lands a UFO Splash on Allin, followed by a pinfall.

After the match, Kazuchika Okada and Kyle Fletcher come out for the next match against Brodido, cutting Knight’s celebration short and leaving him visibly annoyed.

Tag Team Match: Brodido (ROH World Champion Bandido & Brody King) vs. The Don Callis Family (AEW International Champion Kyle Fletcher & Kazuchika Okada)
– Bandido lands a 21 Plex on Fletcher, followed by a pinfall.

After the match, Okada tried to apologize to Fletcher for the mistake that cost the team the match, but Fletcher remained furious. Mark Davis and Lance Archer then showed up to attack Brodido, but Andrade El Idolo ran in and evened the odds.

A video package on the rivalry between Chris Jericho and Tommaso Ciampa aired next.

Mick Foley made his way to the ring to moderate the final face-to-face between Thekla and Willow Nightingale ahead of AEW Redemption, where the two will meet for the Women’s World Championship.

Thekla was out first, accompanied by Julia Hart and Skye Blue. Nightingale came out next and hugged Foley when she reached the ring.

Nightingale called Sunday’s match one of the biggest of her career, referring to it as a dream match, and vowed to beat Thekla. The champion taunted Nightingale, saying she would hold onto the title because she was going to steamroll her.

Foley said both women had what it takes to win on Sunday because of how resilient they are. Thekla told him to shut up, which set off Nightingale, who called her a b*tch.

Thekla then hit Nightingale with the microphone, followed by a shot with her title belt. Nightingale managed to recover and threw the champion out of the ring to end the segment.

Singles Match: Jay White vs. Clark Connors
– White lands a Guillotine Choke on Connors, forcing him to tap-out.

After the match, Connors tried to attack White, but he ended up on the receiving end of a Bladerunner. David Finlay then appeared from behind and hit White with his shillelagh, but the rest of the Bang Bang Gang ran out to make the save.

Backstage, PAC and Claudio Castagnoli attacked Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, promising to defeat them at Redemption to become the new AEW World Tag Team Champions.

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Match: Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne & Lena Kross) (c) vs. Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart & Skye Blue)
– Bayne and Kross hit a Divine Downfall on Hart, followed by a pinfall.

Backstage, Juice Robinson and Jay White — eager to track down The Dogs — issued a challenge for a Double Chain Match at Redemption, saying they want to chain up “the dogs” like never before.

Trios Match: AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, and Jon Moxley vs. The Don Callis Family (Brian Cage, Hechicero, and Jake Doyle)
– Omega lands a V-TRigger on Hechicero, followed by a pinfall.

After the match, Omega shoved Ospreay and started a fight with Moxley. The Young Bucks then came out, and the brawl spread. Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero also showed up, but Omega quickly fought them off. Kevin Knight, though, came out of nowhere, springing over the top rope to nail Omega flush with the TNT Championship.

Knight then grabbed the AEW World Championship and posed with the title, closing out the final Dynamite before Redemption.
