Baron Corbin already has his first title opportunities since returning to WWE. He’ll face Trick Williams, Carmelo Hayes, and Ricky Saints for the United States Championship during this weekend’s live events on July 25 and 26 in California.

A Fatal 4-Way Match is featured in the promotional lineup for Saturday’s WWE Summer Tour stop in Stockton, and it’s been officially announced for Sunday’s show at Dignity Health Arena in Bakersfield. That card will also include CM Punk and Cody Rhodes taking on Gunther and Sami Zayn, along with The Usos against The Vision for the World Tag Team Championship.

Corbin made his surprise return on the July 10 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, showing up in the middle of the non-title match between Williams and Hayes. The former United States Champion pulled Carmelo off the top rope and hit both men with the End of Days, bringing the match to an end without a winner.

Ricky Saints, meanwhile, was already part of the title picture. He beat Hayes in a No. 1 contender’s match on the June 19 episode of SmackDown, but came up short against Trick at Night of Champions eight days later in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

With that, WWE now has all four men tied to the current United States Championship story on the same live event cards. The expectation is that these matches will serve as a first test for a possible Fatal 4-Way on WWE’s television programming.
