Trick Williams’ new customized WWE United States Championship barely made its on-air debut before it was already up for sale to fans.
The title was presented by Lil Yachty on the July 10 episode of SmackDown. Dubbed the “Legacy Fur Edition,” the new belt features white synthetic fur and was designed to match the traditional coats worn by the current champion.
Just hours after the segment aired, WWE opened pre-orders for the replica in its official shop for as much as $699.99. That’s $100 more than the traditional United States Championship replica, which currently sells for $599.99.
Despite the price, the belt will be a highly exclusive item. Only 250 will be produced, each one coming with a carrying case. The belt weighs approximately 8.38 pounds, features metal plates, and cannot be returned once purchased.
Buyers will also have to wait a long time to receive the replica, with WWE estimating that shipments won’t go out for several months.
Trick Williams won the United States Championship by defeating Sami Zayn on night two of WrestleMania 42 in April. Since then, Lil Yachty has remained by his side as a recurring part of his WWE presentation.
The traditional version of the belt remains available for anyone who doesn’t want to pay the extra $100.
