Big Cass picked up his first win since returning to WWE, defeating Je’Von Evans on the August 24 Monday Night RAW in Ottawa, Ontario.
The match played out as a classic power-versus-speed contest. Evans mounted a comeback, sending Cass crashing into the timekeeper’s area before connecting with the Red Dot and a Springboard Lariat.
Evans went for the OG Cutter off the ropes, but Cass shoved him to the outside. Back in the ring, Cass leveled Evans with a Big Boot and scored the pinfall.
11:34 PM · Aug 24, 2026After the match, Evans was jumped by Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh. Mysterio held Evans in place for a headbutt from McDonagh, then delivered a Frog Splash.
Cass made his WWE return on the August 3 RAW after an eight-year absence, attacking Evans following the young star’s win over Ethan Page. He continued going after Evans in subsequent weeks, with the August 17 beatdown marking the third straight week he targeted the Young OG.
Monday’s bout was also Cass’s first WWE match since June 17, 2018, when he lost to Daniel Bryan at Money in the Bank. Two days later, on June 19, WWE officially announced his release.
