Stephanie Vaquer is finally set to wrestle again on WWE television. Her first match back will come against Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez.
The bout was announced on this Monday’s RAW and is scheduled for the August 24 episode, airing from the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.
Vaquer kicked off this week’s RAW by calling for a shot at Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. Morgan came out flanked by Raquel Rodriguez and Perez, and the segment quickly broke down into an all-out brawl.
Becky Lynch ran in to back up Vaquer but accidentally struck La Primera in the chaos, giving the heels an opening to take back control. Perez capped things off by hitting the Pop Rox on Vaquer, letting Judgment Day stand tall to close the segment.
Later backstage, Vaquer made it clear she hadn’t forgotten what Perez did and called out Morgan for always hiding behind the numbers. Lynch confronted her again, warning that as long as they’re both chasing the Women’s World Championship, they’ll be rivals too.
Vaquer returned on the August 3 RAW, attacking Perez, Rodriguez, and Morgan. Since then, she’s made no secret that her top priority is winning back the title she lost to Liv at WrestleMania 42.
