Stephanie Vaquer officially returned to in-ring action on WWE Monday Night RAW in Ottawa, Ontario, defeating Roxanne Perez in her first match since WrestleMania 42.
Vaquer had been out of action since April 18, when she dropped the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan on Night One of WrestleMania 42. WWE used a Judgment Day beatdown to write her off television.
Her return to TV came on August 3, when she made a surprise appearance on RAW and attacked Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez. Since then, Vaquer has made it clear that she’s coming for the Women’s World Championship.
Heading into Monday’s match, Perez had Morgan and Rodriguez at ringside. The Judgment Day members interfered at multiple points, with Rodriguez distracting Vaquer while she was on the top turnbuckle.
Perez capitalized on a ref distraction to rake Vaquer’s eyes and connect with a Shining Wizard, but still couldn’t put her away.
Late in the match, continued Judgment Day interference brought Becky Lynch down to ringside. Vaquer took advantage of the chaos, sending Rodriguez into the steel steps.
Back inside the ring, Perez went for a moonsault but came up empty. Vaquer fired back with the Package Facebreaker and picked up the win.
