Carmella Comments on Possible WWE Return

Carmella hasn’t wrestled since March 2023, but she is not ruling out a WWE return.

Speaking on Laura Clery’s IDIOT podcast, she admitted she still doesn’t know what her next step in pro wrestling is.

The former SmackDown Women’s Champion said she does not want to spend long stretches on the road while her two kids are still young. She and husband Corey Graves welcomed Dimitri in November 2023 and Bram in October 2025.

“I’m just not sure what the next step is for me, but I know I would regret being on the road and traveling while they are this young. That’s not to say that I would never go back to WWE, but I just don’t know if it would be any time in the near future or in a full-time capacity because I can’t imagine being away from my kids for that long.”

Earlier this month, Carmella said on her own podcast, Hot Mom Sh!t, that she was retired. She walked that back days later on social media, writing that her foot had healed and that she is not retired.

Carmella had already teased a return back in April, after B3CCA used her Code of Silence on AEW Collision. She posted on X, “I didn’t retire, I had two babies,” and added that she might have to come back.

Carmella left WWE in February 2025 when her contract expired. Her most recent match was on March 12, 2023, at a live event at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
