Kelani Jordan is expected to leave NXT for WWE‘s main roster once her NXT Women’s Championship reign comes to an end.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, her call-up is being treated backstage as a matter of when, not if.
The end of the year has been mentioned as a possible timeline for the move, but there’s no word yet on whether Jordan will land on RAW or SmackDown.
Jordan won the NXT Women’s Championship on August 30 at NXT Heatwave, defeating Kendal Grey.
Jordan already appeared on this week’s RAW, competing in a Money in the Bank Triple Threat Qualifying Match against Raquel Rodriguez and Lola Vice. Vice picked up the win, pinning Rodriguez while Jordan was down on the outside after taking a big boot from the Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
For now, Jordan remains on NXT’s schedule.
Next Tuesday, September 22, she’ll team with Zaria to take on La Catalina and Thea Hail.
