Chelsea Green has a new project outside the ring. She has joined the cast of the indie film We Could Be Heroes, alongside Ron Perlman and Peter Facinelli.
According to a September 4 report from Andreas Wiseman of Deadline, the comedy-adventure is directed by Paul Emami and is close to wrapping production in Ontario, Canada.
Green, Perlman and Facinelli are joined in the cast by Mark Elias, Serena Wang, Humberly Gonzalez, Damian Romeo, Sean Benson, Pat Roach and Jason Mewes. Elias also wrote the screenplay and plays Miles Bernstein. Green’s role hasn’t been announced.

No release date has been announced for We Could Be Heroes. Elias is also producing the film.
Meanwhile, Green remains active on WWE television. On the September 4 SmackDown, the Interim WWE Women’s Champion was cleared to return to action as long as she keeps wearing a protective mask while her broken orbital bone heals. WWE also confirmed her title defense against Nia Jax for the September 11 SmackDown in Mexico City.
