Add as a preferred source on Google Chelsea Green will not appear on tonight’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown after doctors advised her to rest following a heart procedure to treat SVT.
Green shared the update on social media, saying she remains on full bed rest. She joked that her absence would devastate her PatriHOTS, but promised to support Tiffany Stratton from afar.
During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Green said she still had one full day of bed rest before easing back into things for another week. Even so, the former Women’s United States Champion admitted she had already tried to convince WWE to let her call into the show.
The situation drew attention in recent days after Green revealed that her latest SVT episode happened during WrestleMania 42 week. Her heart rate reached 228 for nearly 15 minutes. She said the procedure lasted three hours and was minimally invasive.
Despite the scare, Green has kept her trademark sense of humor. In her update, she mentioned flowers, comfort blankets, plenty of pink, and said she had a repaired heart with chicness intact.
Green had already been out of the ring since February because of an ankle injury, though she continued appearing on WWE programming in a wheelchair. Her most recent appearance came on the May 1 episode of SmackDown in a segment with Tiffany Stratton.
