Donald Trump appeared to make a gaffe while paying tribute to Hulk Hogan again on his Truth Social account.

In a post made this Saturday, May 23, at 12:56 p.m. ET, Trump wrote, “We all miss the Huckster!” while using a photo of Hogan, whose most famous nickname was “The Hulkster.”

The detail stood out because The Huckster was not Hogan, but a WWE parody created in the 1990s while Hogan was working for WCW.

The character was part of the old “Billionaire Ted” segments, which the then-WWF used to take shots at Ted Turner, WCW, and some of the company’s biggest stars. Along with Hogan being spoofed as The Huckster, Randy Savage was parodied as The Nacho Man.

The bit even made it to WrestleMania 12, where The Huckster and The Nacho Man took part in a fake match with Billionaire Ted serving as the special referee.

Hogan died on July 24, 2025, at the age of 71.

It is also worth remembering that Hogan had a strong public connection with Trump in recent years, including his appearance at the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, where he endorsed the then-candidate.
