Donald Trump’s name is once again directly tied to TKO Group Holdings, the company that controls WWE and UFC.
According to HuffPost’s review of a financial disclosure filed on May 12, the U.S. president purchased between $15,000 and $50,000 worth of TKO stock.
The information stands out because UFC will hold UFC Freedom 250 on June 14, live from the White House South Lawn.
The event will also take place on Trump’s birthday, when he will turn 80. Construction on the special setup has already started in Washington, D.C., with a temporary arena being built to host around 4,000 invited guests, including military personnel and people selected by UFC and the president himself.
At the same time, the general public will not have access to the event. UFC will instead hold a free Fan Fest at The Ellipse, with big screens showing the show and more than 70,000 fans expected to attend.
The event will also have some WWE involvement. Charlotte Flair, Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso), The Miz, Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green are advertised for appearances at the Fan Fest.
