Roman Reigns has once again crossed over beyond the pro-wrestling bubble. This time, the OTC’s name was referenced by Drake on a track from his new album “ICEMAN.”
The project was released on Friday, May 15, alongside two other new albums from the rapper, “Habibti” and “Maid of Honour.” In total, Drake dropped three new albums at the same time, with “ICEMAN” featuring 18 tracks.
In the line that went viral among WWE fans, Drake makes a direct reference to Roman’s nickname, mentioning “OTC” and the idea of having the crowd acknowledge him. The lyric was quickly linked to Reigns’ classic gesture, with his hand raised and one finger pointed upward.

The nickname also continues to be used commercially by WWE, which still sells official Reigns merchandise featuring the “OTC,” “OTC1,” and “Acknowledge Me” branding.
The reference reinforces Reigns’ cultural reach outside WWE’s weekly programming. Even while remaining at the top of the company, the OTC continues to cross into other areas of entertainment, something few pro-wrestling names manage to do that often.
