According to WrestleVotes, people within WWE view Page as extremely respectful and detail-oriented backstage. The internal feeling is that those qualities have translated directly to his work on television.
The report specifically points to his NXT run, his involvement in AAA, and now his arrival on Monday Night Raw, where he has already entered the Intercontinental Championship picture.
Page will compete in one of the biggest matches of his WWE career this Saturday, May 23. He will challenge Penta for the Intercontinental Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event, which streams at 8 p.m. ET on Peacock in the United States.
Page’s move to Raw happened on the post-WrestleMania 42 episode, when he was introduced as a new addition to the red brand and defeated Je’Von Evans with help from Rusev.
Before that, Page had already stood out in NXT, where he became NXT Champion. He was also part of the WWE and AAA partnership alongside Chelsea Green, even challenging for the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship.
WWE has not indicated whether Page will defeat Penta at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Still, the internal praise suggests that, regardless of the result, he has already positioned himself very well within the company.
