Fabian Aichner, known in WWE as Giovanni Vinci, is officially the newest signing for TNA Wrestling.
The company confirmed the news on Thursday. The Italian wrestler had already made a surprise appearance on the May 14 episode of TNA iMPACT!, moments after Cedric Alexander defeated Leon Slater in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match to win the TNA X Division Championship.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated’s The Takedown, Aichner confirmed that his appearance was not a one-off. According to the report, his TNA deal is expected to keep him with the company at least through the summer in the United States.
“I’m happy to be here, it feels like home already. As Tom Brady would say, this is the greatest decision that this organization has ever made.”

Aichner also explained that he took time away from the ring to “recharge the batteries” after his WWE exit in February 2025. The former Imperium member said a friend in Germany pointed out TNA’s recent growth to him, and that his conversations with Tommy Dreamer came together very naturally.
Aichner spent around eight years with WWE, where he won the NXT Tag Team Championship twice alongside Ludwig Kaiser. Before that, he was also the EVOLVE Champion.
