Add as a preferred source on Google Fabian Aichner officially has a new home in pro wrestling. TNA confirmed Thursday that it has signed the Italian wrestler, best known to WWE fans as Giovanni Vinci.
The news was first reported by Jon Alba of The Takedown on SI. According to the report, the deal was not just for a one-off appearance and is expected to keep Aichner with the promotion at least through the summer.
Aichner made a surprise appearance on the May 14 episode of iMPACT!, shortly after Cedric Alexander defeated Leon Slater in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match to win the TNA X Division Championship.
In an interview with The Takedown, Aichner said he decided to take some time away from the ring after his WWE departure in February 2025 to recharge. He also revealed that a friend in Germany pointed him toward TNA’s improved product.
Aichner’s next step comes on this Thursday’s TNA iMPACT!, airing on AMC and TNA+. He will face Eddie Edwards after interrupting The System and sparking a confrontation last week.
