Kevin Owens is in Minneapolis this weekend for WWE SummerSlam, according to Fightful.
The two-night show runs Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium. Owens being in town doesn’t mean he’s being used, though — WWE hasn’t announced him for a match or a segment on either night.
Owens hasn’t wrestled since March 1, 2025, when he beat Sami Zayn in an Unsanctioned Match at Elimination Chamber. A neck injury took him out of his scheduled WrestleMania 41 match with Randy Orton, and he underwent successful fusion surgery on July 18, 2025.
He’s popped up in non-wrestling roles since, coaching on season three of WWE LFG and appearing at the NXT Great American Bash tailgate and watch party on June 28.
There’s still no timetable for his in-ring return.
