Sami Zayn tore into Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk ahead of his No. 1 contender’s match against Finn Bálor at SummerSlam.

On the go-home SmackDown, Zayn called Punk the “biggest fraud” and “biggest hypocrite” in the company, then sarcastically congratulated him on ascending to “corporate poster boy number two.”

He kept it going Sunday on the SummerSlam Countdown show, shutting down any comparison between the two as he arrived at the arena.

“I’m actually a real person. I mean it when I talk. I mean it when I say something. CM Punk talks the talk, I walk the walk, I’ve been walking the same walk my entire life, my entire career. I actually stand for something, he stands for nothing.”

“Do not ever compare me to CM Punk in any way, shape or form.”

Zayn’s issue with Punk traces back to July. He won the first world title of his WWE career at Night of Champions on 6/27, beating Cody Rhodes and Gunther in a triple threat, only to drop it nine days later when Punk stepped in for Rhodes on the 7/6 Raw in Chicago and pinned him.
