Melina Perez announced her retirement from pro wrestling and ruled out any chance of wrestling again. The 47-year-old Melina said she is not planning another match.

During a Q&A on TikTok, she said she is no longer as eager to wrestle as she once was. Melina said she doesn’t want to let the fans down by wrestling without the commitment she feels it takes.

“I don’t have the hunger and you need the hunger,” Melina said. “You need that because you see it.”

Melina last wrestled on July 17 at the Festival International de Catch at the Palais des Sports in Béziers, France. That night, she beat Mila Smidt with the 2026 Coupe Jean Corne on the line.

It came less than a year after Melina’s in-ring return in August 2025, a win over Jazze Parry and JGU in a triple threat match at Drag Attack Divas in Paris. Before that, she wrestled in a battle royal in South Korea that May, her first match in nearly three years.

Melina started out in WWE as the manager of MNM, which featured Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury. She later won the Women’s Championship three times and the Divas Championship twice.

Her last WWE match was the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble, in which she entered at number two and was eliminated by Sasha Banks after just 53 seconds.

Though Melina is retired from the ring, she isn’t ruling out the possibility of staying in the business in a non-wrestling role. In an interview with Going Ringside in February, she said she would be open to a return to WWE as a manager.
