Gunther has been indirectly tied to the legal case involving Ludwig Kaiser, who is also currently known as El Grande Americano.
According to court records from Orange County, Florida, Walter Hahn, Gunther’s real name, was the person who posted the $1,000 bond that allowed Marcel Barthel to leave jail after being arrested on a battery charge.
Kaiser was arrested on May 20 after an incident that took place in April at an apartment complex in Orlando. According to the police report, he is accused of attacking a resident following an argument inside an elevator. Kaiser has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The case now has a pre-trial hearing scheduled for July 16 at 9 a.m. ET in Orlando. The hearing will determine whether the case will move forward to trial or whether it can be resolved beforehand through an agreement. A potential trial window is also listed for August 10 through August 28.

Despite the situation, Kaiser has been granted permission to travel inside and outside the United States for work-related reasons.
That matters because he is advertised for AAA Noche de Los Grandes on Saturday, May 30, in Monterrey, Mexico, where he is set to face Chad Gable in a Mask vs. Mask Match involving the El Grande Americano character.
