AEW became the target of a series of serious allegations made by Duke, host of Duke Loves Rasslin and co-host of the Devon & The Duke podcast, involving supposed non-disclosure agreements, hotel parties, and even a location that allegedly became known as the “drug floor.”
The comments came on episode 84 of the show, published on August 28. The discussion is a direct continuation of accusations Duke made against MJF last week, when he claimed the wrestler had caused problems with roster members and had screaming arguments with women backstage. That information was also not independently verified.
Duke now stated that people inside and outside AEW reached out to him after the fallout, claiming to have material and potential witnesses willing to speak publicly.
“I’ve got tweets. I’ve got people who will go on the record.”
The allegations grew even more serious when the host claimed to know stories involving NDAs and situations faced by independent female wrestlers who passed through AEW during the pandemic. Duke also accused members of the media of attending parties connected to the company and later signing non-disclosure agreements.
Additionally, Duke mentioned a hotel where a certain floor had allegedly been nicknamed the “drug floor,” without identifying the establishment, the city, or anyone supposedly involved. The host also threatened to dedicate entire podcast episodes to the stories if Tony Khan, MJF, or others try to refute him.
So far, however, no proof has been presented publicly. Duke did not release documents, names of the women cited, media members, or other evidence that would allow the accusations to be confirmed. He also made a point of stating that D-Von Dudley has no responsibility for the allegations he made.
The fallout comes on the eve of AEW All In: London, taking place this Sunday at Wembley Stadium.
