Jackson Drake achieved the biggest milestone of his WWE career on Sunday. At Heatwave in Edinburg, Texas, the Vanity Project member defeated Myles Borne to win the NXT North American Championship.
The bout was highly competitive, with Borne coming close to victory on several occasions. However, outside interference from the Vanity Project once again played a major role in the outcome.
While Smokes distracted the referee, Myka Lockwood attacked Borne at ringside. Tavion Heights ran down to even the odds, but it was not enough to neutralize the threat. As Borne attempted to get back inside the ring, Drake hit him with a 450 Splash to secure the pinfall and the title.
The loss capped off a disastrous night for Myles Borne. Just hours earlier, he and Tavion Heights dropped the NXT Tag Team Championship to Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes.
This is Jackson Drake’s first championship since arriving in NXT. Prior to being called up to the brand, he made history as the inaugural WWE Evolve Champion.
Myles Borne, meanwhile, wraps up a title reign that began on February 24, 2026, when he defeated Ethan Page to capture the NXT North American Championship.
