Jacob Fatu believes a lot of wrestlers do themselves no favors by getting into back-and-forths with fans on social media, especially when the criticism has no impact whatsoever on their careers.

In a recent interview with HOT 97, the Bloodline member was asked how he deals with negative comments. Fatu, though, turned the question around on other wrestlers, saying the internet isn’t real life.

“Man, let me tell y’all something, man. Man, the internet is fake. All right. So, everybody going back and forth with these fans on the comments. Hey, bro. That’s ass.”

For the Samoan star, responding to anonymous accounts means giving those people exactly the attention they’re looking for.

“Listen, bro. The check still clearing every week. Keep doing your thing.”

“And it’s coming from me, man. I’m tired of my people going online. I’m like, bro, what is you doing arguing with this? Come on, bro. Hey, ready? Is your check clearing? All right. Shut the f*** up.”

The comments come during one of the most significant moments of Fatu’s career. In 2026, he received a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns in the main event of Backlash, then faced the OTC again in a Tribal Combat match at Clash in Italy. Reigns won both matches, forcing Fatu to finally acknowledge him.

Now, Fatu, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso will face LA Knight, Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys in a Six-Man Tag Team Match at SummerSlam, set for August 1-2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
