With the win, Henley and Reid are tag team champions for the first time in their careers. The victory also marks Lainey Reid’s first title since arriving in WWE.
The result ends Paige and Brie Bella’s reign after 91 days. The duo won the belts on April 18, 2026, on Night One of WrestleMania 42, taking a Fatal 4-Way Match over The Irresistible Forces, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
During their reign, Paige and Brie made four successful defenses, beating Nia Jax and Lash Legend twice, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.
The rivalry with Fatal Influence began right after WrestleMania 42. Jacy Jayne, Henley, and Reid made their SmackDown debut on April 24, 2026, interrupting Paige and Brie’s title defense against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Weeks later, the group attacked the then-champions.
