The show opens with a video package recapping what happened at Saturday Night’s Main Event this past Saturday night at Madison Square Garden.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcome us to the show. We then see The Vision, Penta, Chad Gable, Jacob Fatu, Jimmy Uso, Royce Keys and LA Knight arriving at the arena.
We head straight to the first match of the night.
WWE World Tag Team Champions The Vision (Bron Breakker and Austin Theory) vs. Je’Von Evans and Dragon Lee
– Breakker hit Lee with a Spear and scored the pinfall to win the match.
Austin Theory and Bron Breakker continue attacking Dragon Lee after the match, but Otis and Akira Tozawa make the save. Maxxine Dupri slaps Otis before Breakker hits him with a Spear, while Theory takes out Tozawa inside the ring. Austin then holds Otis in place for another Spear from Bron. The Vision stands tall over them to end the segment.
Backstage, The Judgment Day surrounds Danhausen and demands that he return the stolen money, threatening to break his face if he does not hand it over. Danhausen heads off to find the money.
Another promotional video for Big Cass airs.
Danhausen heads to the ring carrying a briefcase. He thought his problems with The Judgment Day were over, but the group still wants its money back. With no intention of returning it, Danhausen proposes giving the money away to the fans.
The Judgment Day interrupts the segment. Dominik Mysterio stops Danhausen from handing out the money, while the rest of the group cuts off his escape and attacks him. Joe Hendry runs down to make the save, but Liv Morgan takes advantage of the chaos and escapes with the briefcase.
Backstage, Adam Pearce tries to break up an argument between everyone involved. JD McDonagh opens the briefcase and discovers that all the money is fake. Furious, he throws it aside and accidentally hits Oba Femi. Pearce then makes McDonagh vs. Femi and Dominik Mysterio vs. Joe Hendry official for later tonight.
Oba Femi vs. JD McDonagh
– Femi quickly won the match with a Fall From Grace.
After the match, Oba Femi sends a message to Brock Lesnar.
Byron Saxton interviews Sol Ruca in the stands. Ruca says Raquel Rodriguez will experience déjà vu because their match will end the same way as their previous encounter. Lyra Valkyria interrupts and says that no matter who wins next week, she is coming for the title she created.
Solo Sikoa suddenly appears in the ring and calls out Seth Rollins. Rollins asks whether Sikoa is there to talk or fight, and Sikoa says he wants to talk.
Sikoa says Rollins is at war with Roman Reigns, but this is not a one-man fight, bringing up The Bloodline. He then offers to help Rollins, comparing the situation to when he backed Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania.
Jacob Fatu’s music hits, and he races to the ring, sending Sikoa running. With Fatu’s back turned, Rollins catches him with a superkick before quickly leaving the ring.
Ethan Page and Rusev vs. Penta and Chad Gable
– Gable applied the Ankle Lock to Rusev, forcing him to tap out.
After the match, Chad Gable looks at the Intercontinental Championship before handing it back to Penta. The two pose together to close the segment.
The fourth installment of the Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins retrospective looks back at their first singles match.
Backstage, Rollins finds Jacob Fatu and dares him to attack. When Fatu remains silent, Rollins taunts him and points out that his “OTC” ordered him not to lay a hand on him. Fatu responds that if anything is left of Seth after SummerSlam, he will finish off whatever remains.
Paul Heyman appears in a video package for the Hell in a Cell Match between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi. “The Oracle” says he was instructed not to use the word “violence,” even though there is no other way to describe what awaits Femi. Heyman notes that Lesnar has never been defeated inside the structure and insists Oba will not end his undefeated record.
The fifth chapter in the history between Reigns and Rollins focuses on The Shield’s return.
Finally, a video looks back at the confrontation between Nick Aldis and Gunther at the SummerSlam Kickoff.
Dominik Mysterio (w/Liv Morgan) vs. Joe Hendry
– The referee becomes distracted by a fight between Liv Morgan and IYO SKY at ringside, allowing Danhausen to enter the ring and hit Dominik with an inverted DDT. Hendry makes the cover to win the match.

On the entrance ramp, Byron Saxton interviews the members of The Vision. Maxxine Dupri says she has no remorse for what she did to Otis and Akira Tozawa. Logan Paul tries to taunt Alpha Academy but struggles to speak over the crowd’s boos. Austin Theory ends the interview by warning Otis that Maxxine belongs to him.
LA Knight enters to a huge ovation and reminds everyone that he will team with Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys against The Bloodline at SummerSlam in two weeks. However, he says he did not like the way Solo offered to help Seth Rollins.
The crowd begins chanting “OTC,” but Knight says he is not going to argue with the fans because Roman Reigns has fooled all of them. According to Knight, the champion wishes he were the kind of wrestler LA Knight is.
Knight then turns his attention to tonight and his match against Jacob Fatu. “The Samoan Werewolf” makes his entrance moments later.
LA Knight vs. Jacob Fatu
– Jey Uso distracted Knight, allowing Fatu to take control of the match and finish him with the Mighty Moonsault.
As soon as the match ends, Solo Sikoa goes after Fatu but is quickly overwhelmed by The Usos. Royce Keys appears and takes both brothers down with a clothesline. Fatu recovers, however, and joins The Usos in overpowering Keys.
Fatu then locks Knight in the Tongan Death Grip before hitting him with several running hip attacks. Jey climbs to the top rope and completes the assault with an Uso Splash. The Bloodline stands tall over its fallen opponents to close this week’s episode.
