WWE has once again raised questions about Becky Lynch vs. Sol Ruca at this Saturday’s Saturday Night’s Main Event after advertising the match without mentioning the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
On this week’s Monday Night RAW, Ruca challenged Lynch for the special, but the champion herself made it clear that, at that point, the match would not be for the title.
The situation changed on Tuesday, when WWE began advertising the match as being for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, including in promotional material posted on social media.

However, in a new post made this Wednesday, the company went back to promoting Becky Lynch vs. Sol Ruca as a standard match, with no mention of “The Man’s” title.
Sol Ruca was recently called up to Monday Night RAW and is still looking for her first major win since arriving on the main roster. Before that, she had already confronted Lynch on the May 4 episode of Raw, where she hit the champion with the Sol Snatcher.
As of now, WWE has not officially clarified whether Becky Lynch will put the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
