According to information from Fightful Select, a large portion of the WWE roster was shocked when news of her release became public.
Following her departure, many fans took to social media, even pushing a hashtag calling for Sane’s return, pressuring WWE to bring her back, similar to what happened with R-Truth. This sparked several rumors that she would return on tonight’s RAW, but that information is not accurate.
According to PWInsider, Kairi Sane will not make any surprise appearance on tonight’s show, especially since she has already returned to Japan and no longer has any obligations with the company.
Although a return tonight is not happening, the #WeWantKairi campaign continues to trend strongly on social media. The dissatisfaction has not only affected fans but also WWE staff, including interviewer Jackie Redmond, who reacted very negatively to the news of Sane’s departure. She later deleted those posts.
Sane thus ends her second run with the company. Her last official match took place just a few days before her release, during an episode of RAW.
