Kairi Sane was the main point of WWE fan discontent related to the company’s recent wave of releases in the first week after WrestleMania 42.

Along with Sane, the names of Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley), and Santos Escobar led fans to heavily criticize the work of Triple H, who recently renewed his WWE contract for three more years as head of creative.

In Sane’s case, however, a campaign titled “We Want Kairi” was launched, consisting of fan pressure for WWE to rehire the former Kabuki Warriors member.

However, according to WrestleVotes Radio, WWE will not give in to fan pressure and is expected to stand by its decision to release Sane.

Many wondered if Sane could have the same fate as R-Truth in 2025, when a similar movement led WWE to rehire him after not renewing his contract.

According to the site, however, the same will happen as with Karrion Kross and Scarlett, who also had a similar fan-driven movement, and WWE did not reverse its decision.

It is worth noting that WWE’s recent wave of releases included more than 20 names, joining 2020, 2021, and 2023 as one of the largest roster cuts in company history.
