Kairi Sane is now free to begin a new chapter of her career. The 90-day non-compete period tied to her WWE release expired at midnight on July 23, clearing her to immediately sign with and appear for any other promotion.

A few hours later, Sane posted a photo on X next to a motorcycle, along with a short message about her future:

“How Far I’ll Go… See you soon.❤️”

The wording plays into her “Pirate Princess” persona. Right after her release on April 24, Sane had already made a similar reference to sailing off on her own time, suggesting she never planned to announce her next move before her time with WWE had run its course.

Her final WWE match came on the April 20 episode of Monday Night RAW. She and Asuka lost that night to Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY.

So far, the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion hasn’t named a new promotion or set a return date. Sane returned to Japan shortly after her departure, while Thekla said publicly that she could see her in AEW, adding that her arrival would boost the women’s division.

The timing of the post suggests an announcement is close. However, there’s no confirmation that Sane will appear at AEW Redemption on July 26 in Montreal, or during STARDOM’s ongoing 5 Star GP in Japan.
