KAIRI has just confirmed that she already has plans for her return to pro wrestling, but that she will not reveal in advance which company she will work for.
In a recent interview with Weekly Pro Wrestling, she commented on what she has in mind when it comes to her future, saying that news will be revealed soon.
“I can’t give you any specific details just yet, but various things are already in motion. I’d be happy if everyone could wait just a little longer. Every day, I’m enjoying the experience of challenging myself with new things. Once I return to wrestling, I might be more excited than ever before.”
KAIRI’s statement comes amid rumors of her move to AEW. Fightful recently provided an update saying that she had not yet reached a deal with Tony Khan’s company, but that this could happen soon.
In fact, Tony Khan himself already commented on the possible signing of KAIRI during the WrestleDream media scrum.
“She’s a fantastic wrestler. I can’t speak to that at this time but I am very aware and excited to see that she’s a free agent. I think that that’s very, very interesting, and I’m very intrigued by the possibility of that.”
Despite that, negotiations are still ongoing and nothing is officially finalized yet.
