Kevin Owens Secures Final Spot in WWE Money in the Bank

Kevin Owens secured the final spot in the 2026 WWE Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, rounding out the six-man field that will compete for the briefcase next week.

The qualifier headlined Friday’s SmackDown at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, where Owens faced Cody Rhodes and Johnny Gargano in a Triple Threat Match.

Owens picked up the win to take his place alongside Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, United States Champion Trick Williams, Penta, and CM Punk in the ladder match. The other five earned their spots over the past few weeks.

Qualifying also keeps Owens squarely in SmackDown’s main event picture. Two weeks ago, he challenged Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship but lost after interference from Gargano, Candice LeRae, and Punk.

Gargano entered the qualifier after Zayn said he had convinced Nick Aldis to give Gargano a Money in the Bank opportunity, following Aldis’ refusal to grant another title match.

Money in the Bank is set for Saturday, October 10, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
