LA Knight Discusses His Current Relationship With Triple H

LA Knight revisited one of the most controversial moments from his appearance on the second season of Netflix’s WWE Unreal, in which Triple H sharply criticized him backstage at Money in the Bank 2025.

In a recent interview with Metro UK, Knight, a former United States Champion, looked back on the conversation with Triple H and explained how he handled it.

“I’m just sitting there listening to it, like, ‘Okay, yeah, all right.’ Obviously I’m gonna listen to what’s coming at me. I’m thinking to myself, ‘Well, everything went off pretty much without a hitch, as far as anybody can tell, as far as even I could tell.’”

Despite the incident, Triple H and Knight are currently considered to be on good terms. Knight also discussed how he works with WWE’s creative team.

“We’ve kinda gotten that figured out between me and creative, where it’s like, I’m not the type that wants to have everything mapped out from A to Z. I don’t want the audience to have to think as much. I want them to feel.”

The controversy came after Seth Rollins won the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, beating Knight with a Stomp in the closing moments to take the briefcase. The original plan called for Rollins and Knight to battle at the top of the ladder, which did not end up happening.

In March, Knight told the Bootleg Kev Podcast that he changed how he conducts himself backstage after the WWE Unreal footage was released. Since then, he has stopped lingering in the Gorilla position after his matches, keeping himself off camera.
