LA Knight has promised to put The Bloodline “in a hole” when the two sides collide at WWE SummerSlam.
During Monday’s Raw from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, Knight addressed Jacob Fatu and The Usos ahead of their six-man tag team match. He said the reunited faction has relied on sneak attacks and screwjobs, but vowed that its numbers game will not decide the outcome on Saturday.
“I said once The Bloodline gets back together, it’s gonna be sneak attacks. It’s gonna be screwjobs. It’s gonna be all that, and I hope you boys are feeling big.
“I hope you’re feeling good because Saturday night at SummerSlam, Saturday night’s alright for fighting. Fighting is what we’re gonna do, and the goal is to put The Bloodline in a hole.”
Knight will team with Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys against Fatu, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso on Saturday, August 1. The match is part of the first night of SummerSlam in Minneapolis.
The match was set up on the July 13 episode of Raw. Sikoa pretended that he was ready to reunite with his family before attacking Jimmy and Fatu. Keys and Knight then joined the fight and helped Sikoa clear the ring before Knight issued the SummerSlam challenge.
The Bloodline responded one week later. Fatu defeated Knight in the Raw main event before the faction left Knight, Sikoa and Keys down at the end of the show.
