Lash Legend earned a spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match on Friday’s SmackDown, defeating Giulia and Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat qualifier.
Late in the match, Giulia put Flair down with a hard knee to the face and followed up immediately with the Northern Lights Bomb. Before she could capitalize with a pin, however, Legend stepped in, hit Giulia with the Lash Extension and pinned her for the win.
The result places Legend in the women’s ladder match field alongside Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne and Roxanne Perez.
It is not the first time this year that Legend has gotten the better of Giulia in a ladder match qualifier. On the July 31 episode of SmackDown, Legend beat Giulia with the Lash Extension to claim the final spot in the Interim WWE Women’s Championship Ladder Match at SummerSlam.
Money in the Bank is set for October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
