Liv Morgan made a rare appearance in AAA during the third week of Verano de Escándalo on Saturday night. The reigning Women’s World Champion showed up at the tail end of a Dominik Mysterio interview with Andrea Bazarte.
Morgan never said a word. The Judgment Day member stared down Bazarte for a few seconds before leaving alongside the AAA Mega Champion, abruptly ending the interview.
Dominik had demanded the sit-down with Bazarte because of his rivalry with El Grande Americano, and he spent much of the segment tearing into the masked luchador. Dom said Americano had become the “hero of Mexico” during his time away but vowed to destroy him at TripleMania 34.
Dominik also addressed his alliance with Dorian Roldán and Omos, claiming Dorian understands what it’s like having a father who resents his own son’s success. He confirmed he’ll be at next week’s show in Torreón, where both Americano and Penta have also been announced.
Dominik and Americano are in the middle of a heated rivalry over the AAA Mega Championship, building toward a match at TripleMania 34 on September 13 at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
Morgan’s appearance carries added weight given comments she made on the Battleground Podcast back in February, when she described a future AAA run alongside Dominik as something she considered very likely.
