Logan Paul Provides Update on WWE Return From Injury

Logan Paul has taken another significant step in his recovery and is moving closer to an in-ring return for WWE. However, he has yet to receive medical clearance to compete.

Paul has been sidelined since May 23, when he tore his triceps while defending the World Tag Team Championship alongside Austin Theory against The Street Profits at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The injury occurred when Angelo Dawkins dove to the outside and landed on Paul’s arm. Paul finished the match despite the injury.

In a new vlog posted to his YouTube channel today, Paul initially told Liv Morgan that he had been cleared.

“They cleared me. I was just telling Bruce.”

Paul quickly clarified that he has not been cleared to return to the ring. The medical team has only allowed him to resume performing certain moves, including clotheslines.

“Well, they said I could throw, bro. No, no, they said I could throw clotheslines. I’m semi cleared.”

Paul has also returned to the gym, another major step in his recovery. He said he largely stopped training his arms during his rehab to keep one side from becoming significantly stronger than the other.

“But also, I was afraid to just work out one arm and get this one arm even stronger and then this one be like a little noodle. And so, my muscles have atrophied.”

Paul underwent surgery a few days after the injury and was initially given a recovery timetable of approximately six months. In July, however, he said he was about three months ahead of the original schedule.
