Logan Paul has sparked controversy after taking a shot at Tommaso Ciampa, his former WWE colleague who now wrestles for AEW.
In a video posted on LoganPaulVlogs, Paul was handed a photo of Ciampa and immediately said he no longer had a job.
“Look at that little b*tch. You ain’t got no job no more, buddy. Whatever he’s in, it’s not in my line of work.”
When someone else pointed out that Ciampa technically still had a job with AEW, Paul responded:
“Not with us, and if not with us, it don’t matter.”
Ciampa’s WWE contract expired in January after 10 years with the company. He had already made it clear that he planned to begin a new chapter in his career once the deal ended. Days later, Ciampa appeared on the January 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, and AEW officially announced his signing.
Ciampa wasted no time making an impact in Tony Khan’s promotion. In his first AEW match on January 31, he defeated Mark Briscoe to win the TNT Championship. His reign lasted 11 days, ending when Kyle Fletcher defeated him on the February 11 episode of Dynamite.
Paul and Ciampa previously crossed paths in a WWE storyline. At SummerSlam 2022, Ciampa accompanied The Miz for his match against Paul and tried to interfere, but AJ Styles stopped him. Paul went on to defeat The Miz that night.
