Blake Monroe did not wait for the official broadcast to take her first step on Friday Night SmackDown.

On Friday night, before the USA Network broadcast began, Monroe made her entrance in front of the live crowd, complete with her full presentation package and The Glamour identity appearing on the big screen. The appearance came at a time when her arrival on the main roster was already being treated as only a matter of time.

According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Monroe was expected to begin traveling with the SmackDown roster as early as next week. The report, however, did not indicate whether her debut would happen during the broadcast or only in a dark match, which makes her appearance before tonight’s show even more noteworthy.

WWE had only been promoting Monroe through “coming soon” videos since her main roster call-up. Unlike Ethan Page, Sol Ruca and Fatal Influence, she had not yet physically appeared on the blue brand following WrestleMania 42.

Monroe wrapped up her NXT run after a Casket Match against Tatum Paxley for the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

Before that, the expectation was that her official debut could happen by the end of the month, including the possibility of Barcelona, Spain, being the chosen stage during WWE’s upcoming European tour.

It is still unknown whether Monroe will appear on tonight’s broadcast. Either way, her debut in front of the SmackDown crowd has already happened.
