Kayla Becker, better known to WWE fans as Kayla Braxton, could still return to the company at some point down the road.
During a recent appearance on TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring, the former WWE interviewer revealed that Triple H made it clear when she left that the company’s door would remain open for her.
“When I left, Triple H said that to me. He said, ‘The door is always open here.’ That was a really nice thing to hear from your boss when you’re the one walking away.”
That said, Becker made it clear she is not looking to return right away, and certainly not in the exact same role she had before.
According to Becker, the idea is to spend a few years building her career outside WWE, mainly under her real name, Kayla Becker, before considering any return to the company’s programming.
“I don’t think I see myself going back in the same role. When I left, I wanted to create my own brand. I didn’t want to always be WWE’s Kayla Braxton, because there were so many more things I wanted to do.”
Becker also joked about the possibility of coming back in a different role, even bringing up Paul Heyman. She said a future appearance could involve her taking Heyman’s spot for a month, possibly as a General Manager or as a manager for a wrestler.
Kayla Braxton left WWE in June 2024 after nearly eight years with the company. Her final appearance came on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown at Madison Square Garden in New York.
During her WWE run, she worked as a ring announcer, backstage interviewer, and host of The Bump. Her dynamic with Paul Heyman during the height of The Bloodline also became one of the most memorable parts of her career.
