Kayla Braxton may not be done with WWE for good, despite being away from the company since June 2024.
In a recent interview on TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring, the former interviewer revealed that Triple H made it clear at the time of her departure that there would still be a place for her if she ever wanted to return.
“Well, when I left, Triple H had said that to me. He said, the door is always open here, which is such a nice thing to hear from your boy boss when you’re the one walking away.”
“I don’t think I ever see myself going back in the same capacity, but when I left I just hoped, like, I can go away, kind of create my own brand for myself, you know, it takes time because I don’t want to always be WWE’s Kayla Braxton because I had so much more I wanted to do.”
Braxton left WWE after nearly eight years with the company, having worked as a ring announcer in NXT, a backstage interviewer, a kickoff show panelist, and one of the figures involved in the launch of The Bump.
In an earlier interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, she had already said her departure was amicable and that she felt she had reached the limit of what she could do in WWE at that time.
