Cruz Montana, who made his main roster debut on Monday’s Raw, will wrestle his last NXT match on Wednesday when he battles Dion Lennox in an Unsanctioned Match.
Robert Stone, the NXT General Manager, confirmed that despite Montana being called up to Raw, the match is still on the card.
To be fair, the feud with Lennox needs to end. Lennox, a member of DarkState, has made things very personal over the past few weeks. Backstage, he even took Montana’s phone to call his mother, and he promised that he would do terrible things.
The two wrestled on NXT on October 20. Now, the feud will continue in a match with no rules.
UFC star Michael Chandler offered on social media to help keep order during the match, and Stone responded on Friday:
“Your making this too easy for me @MikeChandlerMMA”
Wednesday’s NXT airs at 8 p.m. ET on The CW, with live coverage from Wrestling Noticias.
