WWE announced a stipulation for the next match between CM Punk and Kevin Owens. The two will meet in a No Holds Barred match on next week’s SmackDown.
The stipulation was revealed during Friday’s SmackDown, when WWE aired a graphic for the match. There won’t be a disqualification or a count-out, so both Punk and Owens will be able to use anything they can get their hands on.
When the match was first announced, there was no stipulation.
Nick Aldis, the General Manager of SmackDown, made the match official during an interview segment with Punk and Owens on last week’s episode. Punk and Owens blamed each other for the fact that neither of them holds the Undisputed WWE Championship right now.
The feud also stems from September, when Punk hit Owens with the title belt while Owens was wrestling Sami Zayn. The interference allowed Zayn to retain the title, and Punk hit both men with the GTS after the bell.
WWE will tape SmackDown on Monday at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, following Raw.
The episode will air on Friday, November 6, at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network, the day before Crown Jewel is set to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
