The Rock remains one of the biggest names Saudi Arabia wants for WWE WrestleMania 43, but his status for the event has not been confirmed.
According to WrestleVotes, there is real interest from Saudi officials in having “The Final Boss” appear at next year’s Showcase of the Immortals. However, his involvement remains uncertain.
WrestleMania 43 will take place in 2027 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the first edition of the event to be held outside North America. WWE officially announced the news in September 2025 alongside the General Entertainment Authority.
WWE has also positioned the event as a historic expansion of its partnership with Saudi Arabia, which began in 2018 and has included shows such as Crown Jewel, Elimination Chamber, Night of Champions, SmackDown, RAW, and Royal Rumble in the country.
The Rock’s name had already been linked to the event for months. Previous reports from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated that talks involving Johnson and Saudi representatives were underway, with a possible offer described as one of the largest ever made to a wrestler for a single appearance.
WWE has not announced any matches for WrestleMania 43.
