Matt Hardy doesn’t agree with the criticism directed at the Hardy Boyz’s entrance in WWE 2K26.
On a recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, he said he liked the representation created for him and Jeff Hardy, particularly because it shows the current version of the duo.
The brothers will be added to the game in the fourth season of Ringside Pass Premium, alongside Jelly Roll and Lady Shani.
Hardy had this to say:
“I like my stuff. I saw a lot of people were b*tching about Jeff’s. They just like, ‘Oh, the juke isn’t right’ or whatever. Still, I showed it to my wife and I was just like, ‘What do you think of this?’ She said, ‘Oh my God. That’s incredible. It looks like a video.’ They emulated the entrance that we did when we wrestled the No Quarter Catch Crew in Cincinnati at the NXT show. I liked it a lot. I thought it was really good. You know, these people online, they’re malcontents. You can’t make them happy. It is what it is.”
The entrance used as the reference point comes from the February 25, 2025, episode of WWE NXT in Cincinnati, Ohio. That night, Matt and Jeff defeated Myles Borne and Tavion Heights of the No Quarter Catch Crew.
Matt and Jeff are currently the TNA World Tag Team Champions. The duo recaptured the titles at Slammiversary on June 28, 2026, defeating The System, The Righteous, and The Great Hands in a Ladder Match.
