Add as a preferred source on Google Maxxine Dupri was not happy to see fans dismiss her new pairing with Austin Theory as a lesser version of Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio’s relationship in WWE.
The comparisons began after the July 6 episode of Raw, when Dupri hit Angelo Dawkins with a low blow, helped Theory and Bron Breakker regain the World Tag Team Championship and then kissed Theory.
On Thursday’s edition of The Nikki & Brie Show, Dupri said she had to look up what fans meant when they called her and Theory “Temu Liv and Dominik.”
“I was just telling my other interview that they’re using this word called Temu. I had to Google it because I have money so I don’t shop there. I was like it’s crazy you guys even have that word in your vocabulary.
“But I don’t feel that’s the same at all. It’s not my fault we’re both blonde. But aside from that, first of all, Austin looks nothing like Dirty Dom. Austin showers, Austin gets a haircut, Austin’s a beautiful man.”
Dupri later explained that her change in attitude came after she felt forgotten and lost several opportunities in WWE. She said Theory was one of the few people who continued to stand by her during that period.
Her split from Alpha Academy became official on Monday’s Raw. Dupri tricked Otis, opening the door for The Vision to attack him moments later.
Morgan and Mysterio, meanwhile, have been together on WWE programming since 2024.
